Turning cooperative dung into vehicle-grade fuel
The cooperative collected over 40 tonnes of cattle dung daily across member farms with no productive outlet. Sewaf Energy engineered a complete Bio-CNG chain that converts the collected slurry into compressed, cylinder-ready fuel while returning processed digestate to the same farms as organic fertilizer.
The plant runs on a continuous feed schedule with automated dosing, on-line methane monitoring and a two-arm filling bay sized for peak dispatch. Operators were trained over three weeks with written SOPs, safety drills and log formats before handover.
